Welcome to A Cappella Academy!
Our intensive 10-day summer vocal music program is designed to train, foster, and inspire the next generation of vocalists. Held in Los Angeles, this transformative program is open to students ages 12-18 from all over the world!
Our goal is simple: to provide motivated, talented young artists with a unique creative environment where they can develop their skills as vocalists, beatboxers, arrangers, music directors, songwriters, engineers, and producers. We’ve brought together an incredible staff to help our campers discover new skills, and to hone the skills they already have. All the while, our campers create close friendships working alongside peers from across the globe.
We hope you’ll audition this year and see what A Cappella Academy has to offer!

A DAY in the life AT A CAPPELLA ACADEMY
Group Rehearsal
Every camper is a part of a small group with its own unique vibe/genre with music arranged and coached by top-level music professionals. You’ll rehearse daily, perform at the camp showcase, have a live video produced, and record a track on the camp album.
Academy Choir
All campers sing in our Academy Choir, performing songs influenced by folk, jazz, gospel, and more. Two of our founders, renowned choral arranger/composer Rob Dietz, and Grammy Award-winning co-creator of Pentatonix, Ben Bram direct the ensemble and arrange a majority of the repertoire.
Classes
We offer focused curriculum with industry professionals in musicianship, vocal performance, arranging, directing, songwriting, vocal percussion, social media, recording, group dynamics, music business, and more!
Guest Performances
We bring in guest artists to give insights into their process and their experiences in the industry via performances and Q&A sessions. In the past we’ve featured guests such as Jacob Collier, Tori Kelly, Trousdale, Citizen Queen and more!
Other Activities/Field Trip
While we do focus largely on music, we do have opportunities in the schedule for swimming, yoga, lawn games, meditation, and more. We also take a field trip to the beach every year!
Rest/Quiet Hour
Though Academy is intense and focused, we also have ample opportunities for free time built into the schedule to recharge. Each day after lunch we have ‘quiet hour’ designed for rest or silent activities where we can give our voices a break.
