Academy Choir Los Angeles

Academy Choir: Los Angeles (ACLA) is an exciting new ensemble that fuses pop a cappella and modern choral singing. Drawing influence from these two distinct vocal worlds, ACLA performs a wide range of repertoire meant to redefine what choir can be. We create a welcoming and supportive environment where singers can learn to be dynamic, versatile performers. AUDITION TO JOIN US TODAY!

• Open to vocalists ages 12-18 in the greater Los Angeles/Southern California area.

• Rehearsals will be September 29th, 2024 – June 15, 2025 in Studio City, CA on Sundays from 1:30–3:30pm. Our year is divided into two semesters, each culminating in a final concert.

  • Semester 1: September 29th, 2024 – February 9th, 2025

  • Semester 2: February 16th, 2025 – June 22nd, 2025

• Tuition is $875 per semester, or $1500 if committing for a full year.

• Financial aid is available! We are committed to doing everything possible to ensure that all singers who are accepted to ACLA are able to participate, regardless of finances.

• We accept auditions on a rolling basis.

• You will be notified of your application status via email within three weeks of submission.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR ACADEMY CHOIR LA 2024-2025

September 29, 2024 ‣ Rehearsals begin. Our first rehearsal on Sunday, September 29th will be an extended retreat rehearsal from 1:00–5:00pm.

February 2025 ‣ Winter Showcase (date TBD)

June 2025 ‣ Spring Showcase (date TBD)
